Our Story
Quest Mingle Studios was founded in Bristol in 2022 by a small group of friends who had spent years making games that cost money to enjoy and decided that was backwards. We believed free-to-play entertainment could be as crafted and joyful as any premium title — so we built Dustfall Crossing from scratch, without a single real-money mechanic.
Every coin in the game was virtual from day one, and that principle has never wavered. We launched with one reel game and a handful of beta players who kept sending us feedback until two in the morning, and the community has grown steadily ever since.
Today our team of seven spans Bristol, London, and Warsaw, united by the conviction that a spin of a wheel should be a moment of delight, not a financial decision.

Responsible Play
At Quest Mingle, responsible play isn't a box we tick — it's woven into every corner of Dustfall Crossing. Our games, including Golden Spur Reels and the Gilded Spur Wheel, are built exclusively for adult entertainment (18+) in the United Kingdom. Every Trail Coin in your purse is virtual and costs you nothing; there is no financial risk, no real-money element, and absolutely no pathway to real-world winnings. We want every session to feel like a refreshing ride through the frontier, not a source of worry.
Trail Coins — the currency powering every spin, drop, and scratch on Quest Mingle — cannot be exchanged for cash, goods, or any tangible prize. They exist purely inside the world of Dustfall Crossing. Even so, our studio strongly advocates for responsible-play habits: take regular breaks, keep track of the time you spend in the saloon, and treat every spin as a moment of entertainment rather than a strategy. The games are simulated; the enjoyment is real, but no financial value is ever at stake.
If playing ever stops feeling fun — if it starts to feel compulsive, stressful, or begins to affect daily life — Dusty Dale would be the first to tell you to step away from the table. Professional support services are readily available in the United Kingdom for anyone who needs them. Visit our Responsible Play page for full guidance, helpline contacts, and resources tailored to the UK.
